CROW is our weekly roleplaying afternoon for short campaigns on a six-week rotation. Each set of games runs for six consecutive weeks and then we switch to a new set for the next six.
It’s a great way to try out a variety of systems for a bit of a longer story than our everything-goes All Day Roleplay events. Some of the games we’ve run include Victoriana, Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Doctor Who, Shadowrun and many more.
If you’d like to come along as a player, you might want to wait until a new rotation to get the full experience. But if you’d rather jump in, just let us know beforehand so we can tell the GM to expect a new player. Either way, bring a pencil, paper and some dice (if you can) and get involved!
Ideally, no GM will run for two consecutive rotations, meaning we get some nice variety. If you’d like to run a game, please join our CROW Facebook group and let us know what you’d like to run and any requirements you have. It may be good to come along as a player first and get to know what games the players like.
CROW takes place every Sunday from 12pm to 6pm in the Cardiff University Students’ Union (Park Place) on the fourth floor (rooms G and H). It’s free and, as with most of our events, all are welcome!
You can see upcoming CROW events below or on our Events page.
