Becoming a Member

If you’re interested in joining BRAWL, but you’re curious for more information first, there are several ways to find out more; you can contact us here or through Facebook, you can join our forums and start talking to members or you can come along to one of our events and see if you like it. One of the best events to get to know us and ask questions is our weekly pub social on Wednesdays. It’s a casual, friendly environment to find out more.

Price for Year’s Membership

Non-students (and students of other universities): £5

Cardiff students: £7, of which £2 is BRAWL membership and £5 is for membership of the Guild of Societies. This is necessary to join any Cardiff University society, but if you’ve already paid this (by already joining another society), then the additional cost to join BRAWL is only £2!

A year in Cardiff BRAWL terms is an academic year, running from the 1st of October until the 30th of September. If you’re joining from May onwards, get in touch and we may be able to offer you a discounted price.

How to Join

If you’re already convinced, that’s great. There are several ways to join the society.

  1. If you’re a Cardiff University student, you can register as a member in the same way as for any other university society. Just go to the Cardiff University societies page for BRAWL, log in with your student details and follow the instructions!
  2. You can always join the society at any of our events. Just hand your membership money to any member of the Exec, we’ll take some contact details and you’re all set. If you’re nervous about knowing who to speak to about it, feel free to get in touch.
  3. You can send us an email about joining via our contact page and we can work out the best way to get you all signed up.

It’s as simple as that! Once again, if you have any queries, please let us know. We hope to see you soon!
